Ingredients:
8 cups
bite-size cauliflower florets
4 tsp
all-purpose flour
1 cup 1%
milk, divided
1/2 cup
shredded cheese
1 Tbsp
snipped fresh chives or chopped fresh parsley
Salt &
pepper to taste
Directions:
1- Place
cauliflower florets in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam
until tender, 8-10 minutes.
2- Whisk
flour with 2 Tbsp milk until smooth. Heat the remaining milk in a sauce pan
over medium heat until steaming . Add flour mixture and cook while whisking,
until the sauce bubbles and thickens, 2-3 minutes. Remove From heat; stir in
cheese, chives or parsley and salt & pepper.
3- Spoon
over cauliflower and serve.
